Here are a few pictures of my craft room in progress. This has been a long process and it's still not over. I need a few more things and then comes the organizing. I am not looking forward to put everything up.
When we bought this house there was a door right when you came down the stairs to the basement going into a narrow laundry room. I was wondering where all the room went. One of the bedrooms downstairs had a closet nook opening and there was the space. We had looked at several homes with this same floor plan. I knew I loved it, just some of them were dated or too modern. This one was just right except the laundry room, which is where I saw my craft room. So, I had to have that door moved to it's original place and take back that space from that closet. The wall was knocked down, the door was sealed up and moved. Then I added a wall so that I wouldn't see the washer and dryer in my craft room (it looks like a closet). I had the wall pushed back so I could have this nook for a large pantry/cabinet that was in the laundry room. It will store my cricut carts and extra stuff. Once all the walls and everything were done I painted the room two shades of purple. I still need blinds so I haven't put anything on my desk. I don't want my paper and stamps to get sun bleached. It will be at least 2-3 more weeks before it's finished. I will post pictures of fished craft room and laundry room then. With lot's of details of storage used.

I just know your too excited, I was when I finished mine... of course not as extravagant as yours will be, but it's my own little crafting spot and I can't wait to see yours finished!!!!
I am happy for you!
SWEET!!! It's coming right along! I love love love the wall color!!! It's really close to mine, although mine is a little more blueish when the lights are on.
I'm still waiting for a few more things (some shelves and stuff) to get done, but the room is mostly loaded I understand what you mean about dreading the sorting and putting away but you know, I really actually enjoyed that part! It was a surprise to me!! Haha! I think it's because it was just so exciting being in the room and seeing it take shape.
My room is still another week or two away from being done. We should have a race and see who can post finished pics first! Haha!
I'm so excited for both of us!!
