Nice to Meet You "Blog Hop"

Hello all,  Welcome to the Nice to Meet You blog Hop. 

As some of you know this is 3 Girl JAM's first EVER Design Team!  It is such an honor to be on the FIRST team!  In this hop you will get to know the DT and see some AWESOME projects using 3 Girl Jam products.  Now if you have arrived here from Angie then you are on the right track.  About me: My name is Jovan Brooks. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 15 years.  I'm a stay at home mom of three, two boys and a lovely girl.  I just recently moved to Colorado.  I'm a midwestern girl but I'm loving the mountain scenery.  I've been crafting off and on for 14 years.  I started my first and ONLY scrapbook after my first son was born. I loved it but was spending a lot of money on one book, so I stopped. I would make stuff here and there, but nothing too much.  In 2009 I was doing the invitations for my cousin's wedding and saw a cricut at a local scrapbook store and knew I had to have one.  I then became HOOKED on making cards. I have been making cards consistently for 3 years and absolutely love it!   I now have a whole room reflecting my addiction...LOL 

My favorite thing to use on cards is ribbon.  My favorite technique is bunching ribbon and crinkled ribbon is the best for that.  I just knew that 3 Girl JAM was a prefect match for me!  I made two cards, one is showcasing my FAVORITE technique and the other is showcasing this AWESOME new product in the store "Canvas Border Strips".

This card is using my FAVORITE color crinkled ribbon "Witches Brew". I used cardstock from DCWV "Cherry Limeade" stack. The sentiment is from PBD Happy Birthday set. It was a lot of fun making the flower and using this ribbon. 

This card is using the new Canvas Border Stirps. I wanted to make something clean and simple. I used a cocktail from Taylor Expressions.  The sentiment is from Skipping Stones. I really LOVE this "Canvas Border Strip" and can't wait to make more cards with it!  I hope you enjoy this hop!
